Hello ART Students!

Hello to all my wonderful art students!

I hope you and your families are healthy and happy! I miss all of you very much. A day without your smiles is like a day without sunshine, and I miss drawing with you!

I think this is a good time to post some of the fantastic, charming, creative, and colorful artwork that you've done over the last quarter of two...

Here at Archway Arete, we love our wonderful country, and, to celebrate, we drew the Statue of Liberty with fireworks! WOW! Everybody's artwork is beautiful and unique and here are just a few fabulous example:

Then, one day in Kindergarten, we discussed what it meant to be brave, and then we drew a bald eagle:

Recently in 1st Grade, we drew drew hot air balloons floating above a landscape. The students designed their own hot air balloon and also chose the landscape over which the balloon traveled. Here is one of my favorites, like something from a beautiful dream:

March 2nd was the birthday of a fantastic author/artist: Theodor Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss. Just for fun, I wanted to show some artwork the students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade made to honor this creative genius:

And more in the "Just For Fun" Department, here's a cute bear in a sweater:

And finally, here's a beautiful drawing by a sweet Kindergartner. This says so much about what is important right now:

I miss all of you, my Arete family!

Sincerely,

Mr. Evans
